We offer flu shots at Aspire Medical & Skin Centre starting 25th March, 2025. Vaccinations are available by appointment only.
How to Book Your Flu Shot
Booking your flu shot is quick and easy! Simply visit our online booking portal or call us to schedule an appointment. Our team will assist you with any questions you may have about the vaccine or eligibility.
Cost & Payment
- Public-Funded Vaccine /Free Flu Shots: Available for free to eligible groups including children aged 6 months to less than 5 years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, pregnant women, individuals aged 65 years and older, and those with certain medical conditions.
- Private Vaccine: Available for $20 per dose for those not eligible for the public-funded vaccine.

Safety Measures
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff: Do not book if symptomatic: Please refrain from booking your appointment if you have symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, or runny nose.
Post-Vaccination Information
After receiving your flu shot:
- Observation Period: Stay at the clinic for 15 minutes to monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Common Reactions: Lethargy, tiredness, or mild fever may occur post-vaccination. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about using paracetamol if needed.
- Development of Immunity: It may take up to 2 weeks to develop full immunity against influenza. You can still contract the flu before or after vaccination.
