This year, the flu vaccine 2025 has been updated to include the latest strains circulating worldwide. Our team at Aspire Medical & Skin Centre offers the 2025 flu vaccine, which has been recommended by the Department of Health for the best protection against influenza this season.

Who Should Get the Flu Shot?

 

    • Children aged 6 months and older

    • Adults

    • Pregnant women

    • Elderly individuals (65 years and older)

    • People with chronic health conditions
      Flu shots are also available for anyone who wants to reduce their risk of getting sick and contributing to the spread of the flu virus.

We offer flu shots at Aspire Medical & Skin Centre starting 25th March, 2025. Vaccinations are available by appointment only.

How to Book Your Flu Shot

Booking your flu shot is quick and easy! Simply visit our online booking portal or call us to schedule an appointment. Our team will assist you with any questions you may have about the vaccine or eligibility.

Cost & Payment.

 

    • Public-Funded Vaccine /Free Flu Shots: Available for free to eligible groups including children aged 6 months to less than 5 years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, pregnant women, individuals aged 65 years and older, and those with certain medical conditions.

 

    • Private Vaccine: Available for $20 per dose for those not eligible for the public-funded vaccine.

Safety Measures

To ensure the safety of our patients and staff: Do not book if symptomatic:  Please refrain from booking your appointment if you have symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, or runny nose.

 

Post-Vaccination Information

After receiving your flu shot:

 

    • Observation Period: Stay at the clinic for 15 minutes to monitor for any adverse reactions.

    • Common Reactions: Lethargy, tiredness, or mild fever may occur post-vaccination. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about using paracetamol if needed.

    • Development of Immunity: It may take up to 2 weeks to develop full immunity against influenza. You can still contract the flu before or after vaccination.

Every doctor I've seen there have been very caring, thorough and knowledgeable. You don't feel rushed out the door. Reception staff is very amazing as well.Very positive experience.

This is the best medical clinic I have been to. Everyone from the doctors, to the receptionists, to the nurses are so friendly and show genuine care for their patients. They are very efficient, and quick. The clinic itself is modern and clean, and there is lots of space to park outside. I definitely recommend coming here, if you want proper medical care and treatment, and doctors who listen to you, and actively seek to help you out. Dr Robin Singh is very professional and caring and his wife Amanda always fits us in whenever needed. I live in Craigieburn and prefer to travel 40 minutes drive as they always prioritise their patients.I recommended this doctor to others also, who have since written back to me to thank me for recommending them, as they had a great experience also.

We have been seeing all the Drs at this clinic for the past 7+ years and we cannot fault their professionalism, knowledge and quality of care for their patients. My fav part is that we are seen on time. Most other clinics over book but this clinic does not. So I’m never made to feel rushed. My family have moved homes and live 20min away but we still travel back because of all the above.
