Pensioners, Concession card holders and children 16 years of age and under are bulk-billed from the second consultation.

• We are now accepting New Patients.  There is a $100 out-of-pocket (weekdays) and $130 (weekend) fee for new patients and inactive patients.  From the second consult, all consultations are bulk-billed from Monday to Friday.  A small out-of-pocket/gap fee of $30 applies on Saturdays and public holidays.  We define an inactive patient as who has not been by any of our doctors in the last 18 months. 
   

Procedures:

There is an out-of-pocket fee for some minor procedures where we have to use disposable instruments.

Other Services that will incur a fee:

Flu Vaccination: $20

Implanon/Mirena/IUD Insertions and Removal:  Medicare rebate+ $100 out-of-pocket

Minor Procedures: Medicare rebate +$100 -150 OOP fee as per a prior discussion with the Doctor 

Taxi Licence Medical: $120 Private Billing

Commercial/Truck Licence Medical: $150 Private Billing

Full body mole check: Medicare rebate+ $100 out-of-pocket

Iron infusion procedure: Medicare rebate $120 out of pocket.  Our doctor will give you an Iron injection prescription to bring back on the day of the procedure which takes approximately 50 minutes to an hour.

Documents and Reports reprints:

You may request your doctor to print any reports or results copy during your face-to-face or Phone consultation.  These are free of charge on the day of consultation.  If you need a Re-Print of any referrals or results outside your appointment time, then there is a $10 admin fee to print these documents.

Complete Medical Records Transfer Fee:

We need to get this request on your new medical center’s letterhead.  We will send a FREE health summary to your new medical center within 5-7 working days.   There is a nominal admin fee of $30 to transfer your complete medical records.  It’s our policy that once your records are transferred, we inactive you in our system so that we don’t bother with recalls and reminders.  If you need to keep your file active with us, then you must call us and we can notate it on your file.

***Note charges are different for insurance companies and the fee is calculated according to Health Records Regulations.

Home Visits:

 Home visits can be arranged for regular patients living close to the clinic who are acutely ill, immobile, or elderly and have no means of transport and where it is deemed to be safe and reasonable – for both the patient and doctor.  The fee for this service is a $300 Out-of-pocket fee on top of Medicare rebates for home visits.

Cancellations: 

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients promptly. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only your doctors but our other patients as well.  When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients.  We understand that sometimes the unexpected can happen.  To be respectful of your fellow patients, please call as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.   

Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

*Please note – If you fail to show up for an appointment without cancellation, or frequently cancel appointments at short notice less than two hours, then our software marks it as a “No-Show.”  After two “No-Shows” in a year, you will be billed a $25 cancellation fee.
