What is Bulk Billing?

Bulk billing means the GP accepts the Medicare rebate directly as payment for services, rather than billing the patient. The practice submits the fees for multiple consultations in bulk to the government periodically, hence the name “Bulk Billing.”

Is Aspire Medical and Skin Centre a bulk billing practice?

We are a mixed-billing practice.

Do I need an appointment for a repeat prescription?

Yes, an appointment is required for a repeat prescription.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

What should I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, you will have a longer appointment with the GP to discuss your medical history. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete your registration details. Afterward, you will see your GP. If you wish to become a regular patient, you may arrange to have your records transferred from your previous GP after your appointment.
