What is Bulk Billing?

Bulk billing is when the GP accepts the Medicare rebate directly as payment for services, instead of billing the patient for the service. Generally the fees for multiple consultations to many patients are submitted to the government periodically in bulk as a batch, hence the name “Bulk Billing”

Is Aspire Medical and Skin Centre a bulk billing practice?

Yes, we are a Bulk billing practice.

Do I need an appointment for a repeat prescription?

Yes, in all cases an appointment/Walk-in is required.

What should I bring to my first appointment?
  • ID

  • Medicare Card

  • Concession Cards

  • Previous GP and/or Specialist information if required

What should I expect during my first visit?

On your first visit to Aspire Medical and Skin Centre you will be allocated a longer appointment with the GP so that any relevant medical history can be discussed.  We ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can fill out your registration details. Once these forms are complete, then you will see your GP.  If you feel that you would like to become a regular patient at Aspire Medical Centre, you may like to have your records transferred from your previous GP, this can be arranged after your appointment.

Are my medical records kept private and confidential?

ABSOLUTELY!  At all times we strive to maintain patient confidentiality. This means we won’t discuss your medical history or your personal information with anyone unless we have your written permission to do so.

We welcome your feedback!

For your convenience we have a feedback and suggestion box which located on the desk at reception. We regularly check this box in the interest of maintaining and improving our service. If you leave your personal details, our practice manager will respond directly to you.

Your complaints are taken seriously and can be made directly to your doctor, to a receptionist or to the practice manager. Otherwise you can fill in a complaint form, located at reception, or email your complaint to our practice manager at admin@aspiremed.com.au
